I read this weekend that I am not alone in asking how do I respond to God’s mission. One answer is when we respond to the needs of the world, we are answering God’s call. He/she gives us the holy spirit to meet earthly needs and thus serve God.
Our world these days is full of human needs. We are overwhelmed with the sick, the hungry, the homeless, and the oppressed. When we dive right in, we discover ourselves and our gifts, and we are transformed into the image of Christ.
