Do you come peaceably? — 1 Samuel 16:5.
How do you walk into a room or an important meeting? How do you greet your neighbor or a long lost friend? Is it with open arms or is your guard up?
I have met people where every encounter is a confrontation. Usually such meetings do not leave me feeling good, where if I meet someone who greets me with a smile and a handshake of a long lost friend it makes my day.
A good question to ask myself is “Do I come peaceably?”
