Grace and Elegance

I read today about a person who is going through health challenges. The person said, “he is going through it all with grace and elegance.” The phrase stuck with me. I wondered how will someone describe my aging? I’ve been called a lot of things during my life, some good and some not so nice, but I don’t think I’ve ever been described as a person of grace and elegance.

When one becomes older we do think about such things. Will we face the latter years with courage? Will we not complain? Now I can add another — will we go through it all with grace and elegance?

Like I said, I’ve never been described as elegant before, but one day I hope that might.
