Body and Soul

How much our mental life is knit up with our corporeal frame?  — William James.

The above is a great question for your Lenten studies and meditation. Who among us doesn’t have our mental emotions affect our physical body? Yesterday I mentioned the phrase “Tug at our heartstrings.” Is that a real physical response? Which leads us to the ultimate question of mankind. Is our soul physical, and what happens to our soul when we die?

I’m a big believer in soul, and that we can know a lot about a man or woman if they give us a window into their soul. This lent is a good opportunity to consider, study, and pray about the linkage between body, mind, and soul. It’s there my friends.
