Never Leaving

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. – Terry Pratchett.

I think the above can be said about a lot of things. Every day is not the same, and whatever we do or see makes us wiser and more experienced. Just because the final destination is the starting point, doesn’t mean you didn’t run the race of a lifetime. Whatever your travel plans for the summer make sure they are full of new and exciting adventures and engagement with people who teach you more about yourself. Every vacation or travel trip should fill your soul. Perhaps, part of your plans should include the question, “How will I have changed as a result.”

  1. I have always traveled with this in mind. You need to see the beautiful places on this planet, but it is equally important to know the people. It is always my goal!
