Life Goes On

In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: It goes on. — Robert Frost.

I have been gone for two weeks. I warned all that Suzy and I had a wild hair and we did it. We drove to Maine (a place I’ve never been) and enjoyed it thoroughly. Of course, I had lots of lobster and blueberry pie, and saw some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever seen. I won’t bore you with our adventures, but I wholeheartedly recommend a trip to Maine in your future.

I’m now back in Charlotte, and as Frost says, “Life goes on.” World news is tragic, and Covid continues to do enormous damage. Yet, I remain optimistic. I believe the best is yet to come in my long life. The best is yet to come for us all, as long as we remain positive and have faith in God. Over the years, the possibility of taking the vacation I just took was nothing more than a dream, yet it finally happened.

Life goes on.
