Have Faith In Yourself

Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it. — Bruce Lee.

One of the goals of self-examination is to get to know yourself. From childhood we are given role models, idols, celebrities, to look up to, admire, and imitate. But at some point we must cast aside trying to be someone else, and discover the person God created.

It is not easy to find yourself. There is a lot of noise out there telling you who you should be. It is also true that at some point we think I’m too old for self-examination and change. But to listen to the noise and the voice that says you are too old is wrong. In meditation, we find that true voice that tells us who God created. Once we understand our true mission on earth than we owe it to ourselves to become who we were always meant to be. It is never too late.
