Rebuild

For I am about to create new heavens and a new earth, the former things, shall not be remembered or come to mind. — Isiah 65:17.

One cannot watch the news about the destruction in the Ukraine, Turkey, and Syria and to wonder how will they ever rebuild? I read about Germany after WWII in a book called Aftermath and the rubble that had to be removed first by hand night after night. We watch anxiously as rescuers remove slab by slabs of concrete looking for survivors. When the twin towers of the World Trade Center came down did we ever believe something could be rebuilt?

God will be there to help rebuild and to help us forget and start again. We all will play a part. Whether it  is an apartment building or an individual soul. We can overcome our past, rebuild, and put the past behind.
