Writing

Yes I’m back. I finally finished me next novel, Light of Day, and can turn to my love which is a regular postings at The Hubbell Pew.

I am writing these things to you. — 1 John 2:1a.

It’s coincidental that today’s scripture is about writing. I worry that writing is becoming a lost art. Society seems satisfied by texts, tweets, and AI. Will you soon allow AI to compose a love letter or a letter of condolence? Will poetry be limited to 144 words? I hope not.

Writing at its best comes from the heart more than the brain.

PS: I wonder what my English Teacher would say now about my books. She was not my biggest fan. Then again, I wasn’t much of a pupil.
