I got another “spare part” yesterday. The first of two cataract surgeries. I am seeing much better today and look forward to the second part being installed in two weeks. I am very fortunate to receive new parts just when my old part is on its last leg. I’ve also received an abundance of good health care over the years.
I’ve noticed that whenever I receive a spare part that it is because of the sacrifice and hard work of many others. Life is that way. We received and enjoy abundance but we are also called to sacrifice to free others. We really are all in this together.
When you receive a request to deprive yourself to free another, remember others sacrificed for your enjoyment and freedom.
