Air Of Integrity

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for my hope has been in you. — Psalm 25:20.

Today’s reading reminds me of the few people I have met who carried themselves with an air of integrity. When you meet someone like that you know it instantaneously.

Integrity is something we used to expect in our leaders. It was a given that if you lacked integrity you were unqualified for whatever position of authority he or she held. I fear that an attribute such as integrity has lost its value, but not with me. Give me integrity over bluster and flash any day.
