Dragging

I am dragging today. For some reason I stayed up late watching some TV show that featured Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, Usher, and a bunch of other celebrities. My question is: If the average seat for this event costs over $8000, how much does a skybox cost? And after an evening crammed into a skybox does someone come home to hear, “You spent how much to watch a game that is on TV for free!!!”

Best commercial: Nothing stood out for me, but Suzy liked the Budweiser one and the KIA ice skater. The worst by far was the Kennedy political ad. To parody Lloyd Benson, “we knew John Kennedy and the current Kennedy is no John Kennedy.”

The one Arkansas football player got hurt in the first quarter. His absence may have been one of those small things that changed the outcome of the game. Sometime I should write something about injuries and sports.

Finally, time to get out the griddles. Shrove Tuesday is tomorrow, and Ash Wednesday follows. Time to put on our Lenten sackcloth’s,
