A Meditation on Change

I thought I’d try something different. Let me know what you think.

Bring your awareness to the quote by Virginia Woolf: “A self that goes on changing is a self that goes on living.”

Consider the truth in this statement. Think of a time in your life when you went through a significant change. How did it feel? Did it bring growth and a new sense of yourself?

Now, gently ask yourself:

  • Can you remember a time when you didn’t consider changing something about yourself?
  • Imagine a world without limitations. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Notice your thoughts. Don’t judge them, simply observe.
