Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. – Ralph Waldo Emerson.
I don’t usually think about leaving a trail on a vacation trip except for a few Cheetos packages and Corn Dog sticks. Yet, Emerson has a point. Why not consider leaving a trail even though you are not in your usual environment. Several come to mind. How about leaving a trail of kindness and gratitude, for example? Many of us who travel are demanding, complaining, and unwelcome travelers. Think about leaving a different trail, one that forms a lasting memory to those you visit.
