Sour Tongue

I had just written a short piece for my website’s newest feature, Webb Hubbell Unfiltered at www.webbhubbell.com on Labels, when I came across the quote above.

We fall short of being useful and comforting when we present a sour tongue. If our mind cannot bear difference of opinion or a different temperament than ours you will neutralize all the good you can do. Work at and pray for a spirit that is void of temper, irritability, bad manners, or anything that renders life anything but a blessing for yourself and those around you.
