There are four statements that lead to wisdom. Armand Ganache, Louise Penney novels.
What are they, I hope you ask. — “I’m sorry, I was wrong. I don’t know, and I need your help.”
I had a lot of coaches that went and practiced at the school of intimidation. But every now and then I had the good fortune to have a coach who taught the lessons that wisdom can only teach. It’s those coaches who taught me way more than how to pitch, block, tackle, and shoot baskets.
As important as it is for our children to learn and use these four statements is for we as adults and parents to teach and be receptive when our children or our co-workers say one of the magic four, — “I’m sorry, I was wrong, I don’t know, and I need your help.”
Excellent points!
