If the universe is expanding what is it expanding into? If the universe started with a Big Bang, what was there before the explosion? What exactly is infinity and does it have an end?
We could go on and on with such questions, and when physicists discover the answer to any of them, three more questions pop up. Do you think that there were some things we aren’t meant to know?
Artificial intelligence is nothing more than a compilation of what we as humans already know in some form or the other. While it’s based on human knowledge, it can discover patterns and connections that we might miss. Will AI one day discover something we as humans cannot? I hope so.
For now we ask simple questions that are just as unanswerable as the questions asked by physicists. Why do bad things happen to good people? What happens to our soul when we die? Or, why can’t we just get along?
The questions I’ve raised about the nature of existence, morality, and human behavior are fundamental to our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. While science can provide insights into some of these questions, others may be beyond the scope of scientific inquiry. Ultimately, these questions often go to the heart of what it means to be human.
