Relationships change over time, especially a marriage relationship. Spiritual relationships change as well. We may feel close to God one minute and distant weeks later.
What seems to be true with both is what’s important is one keeps working at it day after day, year after year.
What is also true is that good relationships with both humans and God deepen as we mature and grow.
Relationships define realty rather than the other way around.
So like a good marriage look at your relationship with God anew daily. Communicate with God on a regular basis and after time that relationship will be vibrant, ever-changing, and deep.
