Mindfullness

Mindfulness meditation doesn’t change life. Life remains as fragile and unpredictable as ever. Meditation changes the heart’s capacity to accept life as it is.
Sylvia Boorstein.

I’ve heard the term mindfulness many times. I had my own definition, but after reading the above I decided to do a little research.

To be mindful is to concentrate our attention on the present moment. As we meditate, we are “mindful” of our breath, our thoughts, and our feelings. We slow down and direct our attention to our surroundings and our bodies.

The more we practice the more mindfulnesses creeps into our daily routine. We become more aware and simple daily activities become agents of relaxation.
