Am I Not Free?

Am I not free? — 1 Corinthians 9:1a.

Paul asks a question that we should all ask ourselves. We should ask it about ourselves and of all others. Unfortunately we know the answer for many, including us, is — No!

Tyranny, economic slavery, and life’s circumstances beyond our control take away the birthright God gives us — to be free and to pursue our true calling on earth.

Ask yourself the question, “Am I not free?” Then if the answer is no, ask what is keeping me from answering — yes. Whatever it takes remove those barriers to obtain the — yes.
