Dark Nights

There are moments when darkness comes, and we are so overwhelmed — words fail. Our body, our spirit, our brain send us nothing but signals of despair. It is time to retreat to the stillness. Listen in the darkness and quiet. Go ahead and feel the fear, pain, and loneliness pouring in. Let every negative emotion flow through. They are cleansing your soul of all like minded residuals. In the stillness, they leave as quickly as they entered, and we begin to see a glimmer of the truth, smell the aroma of peace, and feel all that remains – the eternal presence of God.
