The Greatest Of the Three

Paul’s often repeated words — “And now faith, hope, and love (‘charity’ if your old like me) abide; and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13.

 Recently, I’ve written about the three aspects (selfs) of man – physical, mental, and spiritual. Now, I don’t have the authority or direct connection that Paul had to say which of these is the greatest or the most important. But, I can say the deepest is spiritual. We are spirits now and into eternity. Our spiritual self may be in germ now, but it is directly connected to God., Try they might our other two selves to sever that connection, they cannot accomplish the deed. No power on earth can accomplish the impossible.
