Set Sail

The winds of grace blow all the time. All we need to know is set our sails. – Ramakrishna

During our beach week, Walter was explaining to me why at the beach there is always a breeze. Some days it is stronger than others, but there is always a breeze that cools and refreshes. Then while I was sitting on the beach or floating in the ocean I found myself welcoming the breeze and remembering the above quote.

I’m a follower of the news both locally and nationally. If I’m not careful I can quickly get depressed or discouraged, but when I just focus only on the bad news I am failing to set my sails. My old football coach would say, “Hubbell it’s raining silver dollars, and your barrel is upside down.” The winds of grace blow all the time.

Today, set your sails and see where grace carries you.
