I’m Too Busy

There is probably not a parent alive he hasn’t felt guilty or had to apologize to a child for saying, “not now, I’m busy.”

Subconsciously, we utter the same emotion to God, and realize too late that we have missed out. When we turn away from some duty or some neighbor, saying our heart is too sick and sore with some great yearning of our own, we sever a line from God sending us a message. When we shut out the man, we slam the door on the angel who sent him. God has a plan for each and every one of us, and we need to keep our hearts quiet and our eyes open for it all to come together.

The good news is when we close our hearts and eyes to our neighbor’s needs while we wallow away in our own problems, God’s message continues to fight to break through our stubbornness. He will make it right somehow, somewhere.
