Tuesday in the First Week of Lent

You are already in your seventh day of Lent and I hope you are sensing a difference.

Great minds may differ whether God brings us to this moment or he is merely there to see us through it, but whichever it may be, we must be ready to cope with the day. In this moment we are to live and wrestle, and in no other. So don’t flinch, don’t wish the sun would roll back the days, let us humbly and with courage face whatever comes. It is the difficult times that teach us not to depend on just ourselves. God, friends, and family all wait to be called upon. It is those times where life and circumstances seem impossible that we learn what belief is, and in whom it is to be placed.
