Friday in the Third Week of Lent

God plants seeds of good and an ideal in every soul. It is up to us to nurture and care for them, but no matter how poorly we tend our soul’s garden they survive. At some time point in our life, we will feel a trembling and a longing to do some good thing. Our life finds its noblest spring of excellence in this impulse to do a good and our best. There will always be those times when each of us will not be content with the material and mundane, and when it happens God is standing by, whispering to the soul, reminding it of its destiny to do good and to serve others.
