My Prayer
To keep alive my faith when evil seems overpowering; to know that heartaches have been the heartaches of thousands of other women, who have risen out of the turmoil in life, fine, generous, noble, and good women, to live clean physically, mentally, and morally; to be grateful for the sweetness and joy of the life I have tasted; to be glad for the beauties of nature and the love of children; to keep my interests in all things that make for culture and beauty; to keep sweet and not bitter; and for every unkind word or deed to give more of love.
