Friday In the Third Week of Lent

You are almost through with the Third Week of your Lenten discipline and you are feeling the change, but you are also aware of the effort that is required to continue.
You have changed, but you also realize that with the change comes additional responsibilities.
In some ways the Lenten discipline is like weeding a garden. When we stop and admire the progress we have made, we notice new weeds sprouting that require our attention.
Don’t let your frustration with the newly sprouted weeds keep you from admiring the lushness of your new life. Your labors are being richly rewarded.
