Monday In the Fifth Week of Lent

You have to give up all hope of trying to have a better past. — Anon.
A we hit the home stretch of Lent we tend to dwell on our failures in Lent or what we could have done better. Drop that load my friends. Begin this week thinking only of the present and how each moment of this day and future days are a gift from God.
Yes, we can learn lessons from our past, but we cannot change it. But we can change how we live today. Rejoice and be glad in it.
