Hurricane Laura

I watch with interest the news about Hurricane Laura because it’s potential path might severely impact people and places I love.

I wonder why as long we have had hurricanes we can’t find a way to reduce their impact, but then again it’s not wise to fool with Mother Nature.

Where I am right now, Pawleys Island, was dealing with a hurricane and flooding just a few weeks ago, but this morning the sea is calm and the beach is perfect for walking.

What Mother Nature teaches us is that her beaches, oceans, lakes, rivers, etc. are resilient. They take a beating but come back stronger.

Think there is a lesson there?
