Now, What Do I Do?

At the end of the movie The Candidate, the Robert Redford character asks after being elected, “Now, what do I do?

Lent is over, Easter season begins, “Now, what do I do?”

Before you tear off solving the world’s problems or inventing the cure for the common cold, might I suggest you relax, take a breath, and reflect on how the Lord acted through you these last forty days. There is a little sadness as our former pre-Lent selves are gone. Remember the laughter over the well nibbled oatmeal cookie or sip of  wine? Lent was a solemn time, but we also rejoiced as God acted on us and with us. Take the next few days to remember it all before with new found energy and inspiration  you begin the journey you are meant to travel.

God Bless my friends!
