Joy of Christmas

I apologize to all my readers. My family has had a tough lead up to Christmas, which I will not burden you. The good news is we are emerging, and this morning I woke with an immense feeling of Joy.

Joy to be alive, Joy to have wonderful family, and the belief that the Joy that is Christmas can overcome all the hiccups that life throws. I have caught the spirit.

One thing that has helped me put these past weeks behind me has been recalling wonderful Christmas memories. Those memories are not about a new baseball glove or a chemistry set, but things such as John Wilson dressing up as Santa and visiting my children, Cricket’s sweet rolls, and those wonderful friendships that stay with me through thick and thin.

It’s going to be cold, travel will be difficult, but may the Joy that is Christmas overcome any obstacle there is to you having a very Merry Christmas!
