Upright and Walking

Our one year old granddaughter, Maggie, is so much fun to watch. She is walking everywhere now, and if she falls she always lands her bottom. I am especially attentive since I fell,  and i am now going through therapy to relearn after seventy-five years to walk again. Hopefully, I want land on my touche too often.

God gives us many gifts, and often we fail to appreciate them until they are taken away. One of the things about maturing is we learn to be thankful for those things we have taken for granted for oh so many years such as being upright and walking. As my physical therapist puts me through my paces relearning heel to toe and bending my knees, I think of Maggie. For my sweet granddaughter learning too get up and take steps is a wonderful adventure.

I need to adopt her attitude.
