For he is our peace. — Ephesians 2:14.
Every now and then we come across a basic truth. Today is one. Too often we turn to God with unrealistic requests. We ask for financial security, pain free existence, material gifts, our prayer list goes on and on. Yet, we forget that our relationship with God is not about the material, but the spiritual. If we seek and work toward a spiritual relationship with God, we are given a peace that is beyond worldly understanding. A peace worth more than a mountain of riches.
