Anything Is Possible

A consistent theme at last night’s Oscars was anything is possible and to follow one’s dream. I was encouraged because there was John Williams who is in his nineties being nominated for an Oscar, and over eighty year old, Harrison Ford, is still making an Indiana Jones movie and presented the Oscar for Best Movie. For that matter, our President is eighty years old.

My dream is not the same as it was when I was twenty, but what’s important is that I still dream. It is not enough to life out one’s days, however tiny our dreams may be what is important is to still dream. It’s not just Hollywood, tell me  your dream.

PS: I apologize for my absence for the last few weeks. Suzy and I took a sabbatical.

  1. I still dream:
    1. people will not be known for the color of their skin but rather for the depth of their kindness.
    2. No child anywhere will go to bed hungry.
    3. War will never again be the answer.
    4. Will live long enough to affirm that my grandchildren turn out to be even better than their parents who I am thankful for every day.
    BIG dreams are the BEST!
