Wonderful Day

A friend told me about a Hospice nurse who used to greet her patient with, “How can we make this a wonderful day?”

What a great way to greet the morning. With all my aches and pains it is easy to begin my morning with gripes and grumbles, when I should be asking how to make it a wonderful day.

Build a daily routine around things that bring you pleasure, so when it is time turn out the lights you can say, “I had a wonderful day.”

  1. I often do this when I am feeling discouraged – I turn to gratitude statements. I have to name 3 things that I am grateful for in the situation and it helps turn my mindset around.

  2. Webb, thank you for being there at Trinity for Grandparents Day and describing it so I could feel a little part of it!! Rebecca’s other Grandparent! 😇🙏
