Embrace The Future

I don’t care what your age, there is something frightening about the unknown. There is a little bit of adventurer in each of us, but also a little bit of a chicken in us as well.

It begins with that first day at a new school, and ends well “when it ends.” Suzy and I visited dear friends last night who bit the bullet and made the decision to leave their home of over forty years and go a new place more geared to helping them as they transition to living in a community. They are anxious, but excited about embracing their future, not fearing it.

Whatever the next phase in your journey, having a good attitude is at least half the way. My mantra of the next few weeks, months, and years needs to be like my friends, “Embrace the Future.”
