Give Me Shelter

Ooh, a storm is threateningMy very life todayIf I don’t get some shelterOoh yeah I’m gonna fade away  — Give me Shelter, Rolling Stones.
“The road to recovery begins with a place to sleep.” The words from a homeless advocate at a meeting I attended.
I asked AI how to  resolve homelessness and she answered:

“There is no single solution to homelessness, but there are a number of evidence-based approaches that have been shown to be effective in reducing homelessness and helping people get back on their feet. These approaches include:

  • Housing First:
  • Permanent Supportive Housing:
  • Rapid Re-Housing:
  • Homeless Prevention:”
Where would you rank the basic necessities? What would you include? — Shelter, Food, Health Care, Clothing, Hygiene?
It is interesting to note that even a computer didn’t suggest a work condition to providing shelter? Food for Thought?
