Fullness of Time

As a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. — Ephesians 1:10.

I don’t worry a lot about the end of the world coming. It’s not something that keeps me up at night. However, I do worry for my children and grandchildren’s sake about climate change, war, and the current trend to live only in the present and to make no investment in the future. But I digress.

I do know people who do worry about whether an apocalypse is on its way. The above verse from Ephesians should ease their fears. I find the thought of being gathered by God as comforting.

I guess one would say, “I do not want my actions to be guided by fear, but hope.”
