Bad Vibrations — Wily Coyote

I love the Road Runner cartoons. One of my favorite scenes is when the coyote tries to hit the road runner with some form of sledge hammer, inevitability he misses and instead strike some immovable object. The entire force of the coyote’s blow returns to him in the way of vibration, that start the coyote vibrating and he usually goes vibrating off a cliff.

Life mirrors this cartoon image. When we direct or engage in an unkind thought, petty nagging, or gossip directed toward another, the whole force of our actions often return upon ourselves, while the intended recipient is unhurt.
