I am the last person on earth who should be posting on this subject, but at the same time I really understand the issue.

At the point we realize that material wealth is not in itself an element of happiness, we reach a focal point in achieving equilibrium. Unhappiness comes always from a failure to discern the right relation to things. This degree of equilibrium is a point of independence never known by us before. Wealth is now our servant, not our master.
