God in All

God be in my head, and in my understanding;

God be in mine eyes, and in my looking;

God be in my mouth, and in my speaking;

God be in my heart, and in my thinking;

God be at mine end, and at my departing.  – The Hymnal 1982, #694

This centuries-old prayer from the Sarum Primer is a simple reminder of our desire that God be with us in all aspects of our lives. Can you think of your own?

For example, God be with me at night, and in my dreaming or God be in my work, and in my struggles.

 During today’s meditation or during your walk in the evening breeze think about where you need God to be.
