Wednesday In The Fourth Week of Lent

I am with thee to deliver thee. – Jer. 1:8

When you are suffering, when you are struggling, when the hour is darkest it is almost impossible to hear that if with cheerful courage we turn ourselves over to God, no suffering is unbearable. It is something each of us must learn for ourselves. We gain healing from troubled waters. Don’t build a bridge over them, but realize that every passage in life sustains a certain measure of pain and suffering. If you are prepared it will make you thoughtful without losing your wonderful upbeat spirit.
